Sports and Fitness

There are two major athletic facilities at Indiana University, the Student Recreational Sports Center (SRSC) and the Wildermuth Intramural Center (WIC).

Intramural Sports

You can sign up to play various sports: soccer, basketball, badminton, tennis, etc. They are either free or have a small charge between $5-$30 for the semester to register a team. You can create your own team or be placed on a team. This is a great way to meet new people and make new friends.

Weight Rooms and Cardio Gyms

The SRSC has one large strength gym and a large cardio gym. Weekly exercise classes, such as Zumba, are also offered. The WIC has a smaller weight room and cardio set up, but it usually less populated than the SRSC. The WIC has numerous basketball courts as well as a full indoor track.

Miscellaneous

- Lockers can be rented at both facilities for an entire semester for ~$20.

- As long as you are enrolled in 6 or more credits, the gym fees are included in your student fees. If you are not enrolled, the gym fee is ~$70 per term.
